Guest
Good bit of commentary from Neville that might have slipped through during the first half with the worry of what was happening. Tyler: 'Demichelis, who many thought was signed as a stop gap, yet here he is starting a cup final...' Neville: 'Well I've not seen him stop many gaps.' The College Dropout
Demichelis hasn't been that bad tbh. He reminds a bit of Colo. Assured on the ball. Likes to anticipate passes and nip ahead of attackers. Also has 0 desire to get involved in a leg race.
Flip
Demichelis hasn't been that bad tbh. He reminds a bit of Colo. Assured on the ball. Likes to anticipate passes and nip ahead of attackers. Also has 0 desire to get involved in a leg race. He had a 30min spell against Chelsea in midfield where he won loads of balls and was playing decently, that said he's not supposed to start for a team that wants to win the Premier League. But I do agree with you that he's not as bad as everyone is trying to make him out to be.
The College Dropout
He's behind Nastasic in the pecking order right? Ahead of Lescott. In midfield he's 4th choice ahead of that Rodwell. Not that he hasn't been poor at times. But keeping potential England players out the team has mass him a target for the media.
Incognito
He even got blamed for that mackem goal when it couldn't have been any clearer that Kompany dropped a bollock. Demichelis let Borini run past him and failed to cover back. Lescott would've bust a gut to get back imo even if he'd let him past in the first place. Kompany should have easily dealt with that, all he has to do is shepherd him down the line, instead he commits himself and let's him in. He perhaps missed the run, but the rest is all on kompany Hadn't seen the goal until now, how the fuck is Demichelis to blame for that goal? Like you say, completely Kompany's fault. It wasn't just the passing of responsibility onto Kompany but the failure of trying to get back imo.

It wasn't just the passing of responsibility onto Kompany but the failure of trying to get back imo. He's just so slow, Borini drags him towards the half way line then easily spins away from him, Kompany goes off in pursuit and ends up being skinned, Demichelis is just jogging back though. For this goal. Kompany is definitely the one at fault but it basically also highlights just how shit Demichelis is even if he wasn't to blame for the goal directly. Guest neesy111
Having Demichelis next to him must effect Kompany quite a bit.
Mole_Toonfan
Having Demichelis next to him must effect Kompany quite a bit. No matter what Kompany does he will never be blamed for his own mistakes, this isn't the first time either.
Flip
Japan solidifying their reputation before the World Cup. 3-0 up against New Zealand after 11minutes. Okazaki, Kagawa and Honda might prove dangerous in that group. Think it's going to be heck of a group if Greece can stop the other teams. Can see everyone finishing on 4 points or something or any 3 on 6p.
Flip
4-0. I realize New Zealand aren't very good but 4-0 after 18minutes is quite impressive.

Flip
Some really interesting games today. South Africa v Brazil at 6PM (GMT+1) last game before the final squad for the World Cup for Brazil. So time to shine for players like Fernandinho and Rafinha. Belgium v Ivory Coast at 8.45PM (GMT+1) Two teams that are good enough to reach a quarterfinal at the World Cup. Germany v Chile same time as above. Two teams that play excellent football and Chile will get the best preparation before playing Spain and Holland in the World Cup. France v Netherlands at 9PM (GMT+1) Two teams that aren't in their best moments footballing wise but that have players good enough to play a World Cup semifinal. Spain v Italy at 10PM(GMT+1). Diego Costa debut as well as a game between the Euro finalists. Will be heck of an interesting game.
