It will be all he has known for twenty years. There are obviously coaching positions and other decent paying jobs available with Barcelona and throughout the game in Spain if it was just about money. Village Idiot Posted March 27, 2015 Share Posted March 27, 2015 Xavi has obviously not been happy with the secondary role he's had this season; we are paying him more than what he's going to get in Qatar, so it's not just the money. He wants a fat contract AND to play 90' every week. He enjoys football too much, I just can't see him retiring yet. It's also better for us if he goes; we need younger legs in midfield, as much of a legend as he is.
