Twinport53
A Deeney understand how anyone could justify £20 mil for him.
Guest
I think he's an upgrade on Ulloa, probably replaces Okazaki. They need a new Vardy though. Maybe back for Remy?

jdckelly
£20m for Troy Deeney. He's worth half of that, at most. Leicester almost certain to be scrapping for relegation next season. maybe if the tv deal wasn't insane but it is so good luck to any club trying to get players from a prem club at a sane price, there is 0 incentive to sell if they don't want to and even if they do they can get more money. Froggy
We could have had Mourinho if we wanted. Longevity is the main reason why he wasn't suitable. He has always spent a lot of money where he has went as well, and while we won't be shy in the market, he won't have the spending power he had/has at Chelsea, Madrid and Inter. Moyes is the man. Where did this all go wrong btw Well Moyes was shit. Doesn't mean I'm not going to back every manager we get. Still said I didn't want Mourinho when we appointed him like, but he's the boss now, and therefore Mourinho is the man.
Guest firetotheworks
Was class when KI thought Troy Deeney was all one word and he was some Italian striker he'd never seen before. Aye, because for some unknown, bizarre reason, people seem to find it impossible to ever refer to him as 'Deeney', it's always, always 'Troy Deeney' 'Troydini'

To be fair to the gloryseeking strumpet, giving a new gaffer a chance, particularly one of Mourinho's quality, is perfectly reasonable.
Guest firetotheworks
Giving him a chance by blindly backing him in posts on Newcastle United fans forum, Newcastle Online? I'm no expert, but that as backing seems a bit weak and misplaced.
Leazes_End_Mag
Grazianno Pelle's agent says he's in talks with both Everton and Stoke over a 5m move. Cracking signing for that price.
Ketsbaia
4 Pelles for a Troydini. I need to sit down.
Stottie
Pelle for 5M is great value! Troydini to cement Leicester as a big man/little man, two up front long ball team. Their last 10 games were more about their defence than attack, so my suspicion would be that they need to mix it up more from now on.
The College Dropout
Also have to figure Ferguson rarely went the "20m+ route. A lot has changed since he retired RVP, Berbatov, Anderson, Rooney, Ferdinand, Veron were all more than £20million like. I'm going to guess you purposefully picked £20mil because there's a load of players he signed for over £15mil: Zaha, Hargreaves, Young, Carrick, De Gea, Phil Jones, Valencia, Nani, Van Nistelrooy 6 players in 20+ years. I reckon the title winning sides from Chelsea (the last one) and City had more in one side.
Guest
Talk about cherry picking. No one was spending £20m for a large chunk of that. Cole for a start was a British record fee.
Interpolic
Liverpool won everything going in the 70s and 80s without ever spending more than a couple of million on a player, it was a minor miracle looking back on it now.
1878
Another example of an average player Ferguson got performances from. Did well on the way to the champions league final against barca in 2011(?). I was never impressed with him at Man Utd but watching him in person, Gibson is actually a very good centre mid when he's fit. Excellent passing range. Problem is, he's never fit so I hope his new deal is heavily appearance-based. Cleverly on the other hand, is absolutely fucking woeful and sadly, was always fit and always picked by Martinez. Hope Koeman bombs him out.
Interpolic
"I think you do not have a better English player. Technically, he is as good as you get. The way he executes, how he reads the game, for me he is one of the most sensational you are going to see in Premier League history" Still funny
