Dan Gleebals
After Levy spent the modric and bale money on pretty poor additions, I think he is being a lot more cautious now. He is definitely trying it on which is clearly not going down very well which can only be a good thing IMO.
Wallace
If Spurs had come up with an acceptable offer, he would have been sold. Levy is always trying it on and leaves things to the very last minute and Peace isn't a man to be messed about.
Guest
Peace needs to do an Ashley with the Arsenal/Cabaye thing and show Berahino the offer made. Make him see they took the piss.
AyeDubbleYoo
There's something really f***ing dodgy about this Martial deal like, don't understand it at all based on the look of his record. Yeah it makes absolutely no sense. Why not spunk all that cash on a proven goalscorer like Cavani or Lacazette? From what i've heard Martial is a much bigger talent than Lacazette. Perhaps, but Lacazette is already a proven goalscorer. Martial only makes sense if they've been scouting him for ages, he's one for the future and they genuinely believe he'll become one of the best in the world. As a short-term buy it's pretty mental. The College Dropout
Aye, that's how the French lad sees it. He doesn't rate Lacazette particularly highly.

It looks like a massive gamble and that they have panicked.

KaKa
Januzaj to Dortmund on loan is so weird. No way he plays anymore than at Man U right? Is it with a view to a permanent deal?
Ash
Martial has said in an interview that the overall value of his transfer is €80m.
TaylorJ_01
I mean that's just ridiculous don't even think anyone else wanted him.
Froggy
The clauses have been reported by the way. They're ridiculous. Essentially unless he becomes one of the best players in the world the transfer will stay at 36m. A 10m add on is if he wins the Ballon d'Or as a Manchester United player. Froggy
€5m per season for every season he's the EPL top scorer, up to €15m €5m for winning Europes Golden Boy award as a Manchester United player. €10 for winning Ballon d'Or as a Manchester United player. Basically if we end up paying full whack it'll be a bargain as he'll be the best player in the world.
SEMTEX
Aye. Either that or Monaco use €500k to make sure he wins the Europes Golden Boy award, and about €2m to make sure he wins the Ballon d'Or.
