Guest chopey
He's a great signing but moyes was in the same class as Pardew, Big Sam and Gary Megson so he'll probably play him at right back
Guest neesy111
Good signing, but not the main area they needed players. Without carrick their CM will be probably the worst in the top 10.
Flip
Good signing, but not the main area they needed players. Without carrick their CM will be probably the worst in the top 10. Why id they loan out one of their only other CM. Not that he was any good, but now they'll have to play Fletcher and Phil Jones there ffs.
Mole_Toonfan
Good signing, but not the main area they needed players. Without carrick their CM will be probably the worst in the top 10. With Mata, Januzaj, Rooney and Van Persie it won't matter.... all they need their midfield to do with that front 4 is cover the back 4. Whether Moyes is capable of making it work is another matter entirely.

Without carrick their CM will be probably the worst in the top 10. its more the statement of intent for me, sends the signal that the new chairman can get big deals "over the line", the Glazers will spend money and Moyes can attract big players. Mole_Toonfan
If Moyes has any sense he will take a leaf out of something Mourinho has done this season. Allow the front 4 to roam and just use the midfield as a shield for the defense and keep the fullbacks compact. Then the much maligned midfield won't matter much. ( i mean after all Ramirez and Luiz isn't exactly a top class MF pairing is it? ) Whether he even thinks of that is another matter entirely.
The College Dropout
Without risking of sounding like i'm bringing out the old african stereotype.... he does play like he's 35. 2 ACL's? It does that to ya. Certainly missed a couple seasons due to injury.
Smal
Man Utd have also apparently bid £22.5m for Luke Shaw. More or less their entire defence needs replacing imo.
Tiresias
their whole team needs replacing and it's a project for the next few years, however their finances require instant success, and tbh it is still a team that should be doing better. Smal
Don't think it's a bad investment at all if he develops as well as the hype suggests.
jdckelly
if he turns out as good as is expected then he could be the left back for them for at least 10 years and lord knows Evra needs replacing
leffe186
We paid less than £10M for a full back from Southampton, and look how that turned out . 22.5M is shitloads, but it solves a problem they have, potentially for a decade or so. When you have all the money in the world that's a reasonable trade-off.

Neither Mata or potentially Shaw would be solutions to their biggest problems, though: CM and CB.
