This isn't Football Manager, those things happen without grand official announcements. Only if your crafty and tap players up, which is supposed to be illegal? I just don't believe we'd approach the player, who as recently as this morning was saying he'd not heard anything about it. P.S. I don't play football manager. You've gotta look at the Cabaye situation and assume that some players would see us as a stepping stone to bigger things. We took on a quality player, gave him a decent platform and he earned a move to a bigger club - there must be an appeal for the players at least, if not the clubs. Got to hurt when your bidding for a player and before you can even reach an agreement the player steps in and says "hold on, don't bother I don't want to join you" Still reeks of not really wanting to sign him.
