NEEJ
Just scored a belter against Italy U17s, apparently. I was gonna post that yesterday but it didn't seem like anyone was arsed. Canny finish, England looked like they played some cracking stuff as well.

Guest dabe
Just scored a belter against Italy U17s, apparently. Anybody know who the right winger for England was? Looks a good player Isaiah Brown, played one game for West Brom last season then Chelsea signed him. Looks physically well developed. No doubt he'll drift into obscurity for the next 5 or 6 years, being loaned to about 10 different clubs before getting a chance in the Premiership (like Sinclair, Bertrand, Rose, Townsend etcetera). Edit - Also, good finish from Armstrong. Now is the time to play him, with meaningless defeats coming in the next few weeks.

mrmojorisin75
Edit - Also, good finish from Armstrong. Now is the time to play him, with meaningless defeats coming in the next few weeks. play him in demoralising defeats, probable slaughterings in fact where he'll hardly see the ball? it's never worked for us in the past
loki679
Bit of adversity'll do him good. Build some backbone donchaknow.

Disco
@Scottwilsonecho 26m Also in that #NUFC line - Pardew says he'll continue to resist calls to start with Armstrong because it could hamper youngster's development
Cajun
We need him sitting in the reserves for at least 5-6 years tbf.

AlanSkÃrare
It's Campbell again. Talk him up in the press, claim he knows a talent "because I handled Oxlade and Lallana", put him on the bench to excite fans, throw him on for 2 minutes and hoof it towards him, then never play him because we get humped every game and humping is dangerous. aussiemag
Its rediculous, because when we are winning he refuses to change a winning team. Unless its Coloccini or Tiote to come back in. So when is a talent like Armstrong meant to get a chance, after a string of draws?
themanupstairs
He has a point tbf. We've seen how Owen's career got completely shattered because he played for Liverpool at 17.

maybe_next_year
to be fair, playing for Pardew could ruin him, at least in the reserves he's further away from that shite cunt.
Sammys_Tekkers
Really can't believe Pardew actually suggested a few runs outs could actually hamper his development. It's 5 games, surely no harm can be done in giving him a decent amount of time on the pitch?

Oh I know let's never give young players a chance maybe that will help them develop

Yeah I've always thought playing football harms players development. Playing a blinder with Armstrong tbh
