We are the worst club in the league to support by a f***ing country mile.

Reminded me of this article in Friday's Metro, was amazed we didn't get a mention:

http://metro.co.uk/2014/04/04/football-fans-can-deal-with-suffering-just-dont-ever-let-it-be-dull-4688725/

I am truly amazed by the lack of coverage and basic understanding of the situation Newcastle fans find ourselves in by all but a few media sources. Even local radio stations are clueless about how the real fans feel and quite frankly the national media couldn't give a f***. We just suffer on in silence.

For the umpteenth time, the ONLY thing which will make the media - and Ashley - sit up and take notice is when the crowds drop below 30,000...as you have seen, too many people are prepared to spend money on a lost cause for this to happen so you can resign yourself to many more days/results/performances like this.

The players don't give a stuff(apart from Anita who deserves a better club than this), the manager is a liability and the owner is on the take and quite happy to be so as long as the club stays in the PL, which it will until the end of next season....

If anyone is quite happy to waste hundreds of pounds by throwing good money after bad I can think of a load of better uses for it - my bank account for a start..!

If anyone still thinks turning up at SJP to have opposition fans gloating and rubbing your nose in the dirt because they know(and can see) that your club is crap, try running down Northumberland St naked with a daffodil up your a--e...just as much humiliation and far cheaper too...until the fine, of course..

Fortunately there's still a shitload of things to be proud of that will capture the heart of a young'un, namely the beautiful stadium (which the c*** has done his best to undermine as well).

Sheffield Weds fans used to be told this when Hillsborough was rebuilt - it was going to be the foundation for a new, rejuvenated Wednesday etc etc etc......

It was only ever filled when FA Cup semis were held there and look where Sheff Weds are now....

You can cling to this piece of straw if you want, but remember KK's words when he came to play at SJP in a testimonial in 1988, and we only had 2 decent stands then..'They've got a nice stand(the Milburn, just built then), but it won't look very good in the Second division, will it...??'

A nice stadium is just the icing on the cake - if the cake itself is poison, you don't eat the icing either....

Got my numbers wrong a minute ago.

Before Pardew arrived, since 1993, we'd lost 35 Premier League games by 3 goals or more. He's up to 19 on his own.

Fucking hell.

How many of those were against top 4 sides? A lot of Pardew's seem to be against mid table or down right shit opposition.

People at work ask me about the football and I tell them it's fucking desperate, without fail I get a response along the lines of "You must be really pleased you're top half though".

Even among casual fans here in the north east the lack of understanding and ignorance to what's going on is astounding to me. I work with about 40 blokes and I don't think there is more than about two or three of them who thinks like people on here. Yes some hate Ashley and want him out but most of them reckon Pardew is blameless and is "doing his best" with his hands tied etc. I've even stopped arguing with them as it just ends with me getting all worked up. How on Earth people cannot see that Pardew is Ashley's right hand man and is 'in' on all the crazy decisions is beyond me. How they cannot see his clear mismanagement of the team and talent is even further beyond me. If my workplace is representative of the North East in general then its no wonder our ground is still packed while we're served up shit week after week and perhaps we are as thick as Ashley thinks we are after all.

 Everyone I've spoken to IRL think Pardew is doing a good job with his hands tied.

First match in a few years as my mate said he would be watching the GN instead of this and must say fantastic seat in Milburn stand ,atmosphere was absolutely dreadful apart from the Manure fans who made it sound like a home game for themselves but there was hardly any reply that was my biggest concern just general apathy amongst us the fans. The team were for me beaten before the kick off with no self belief and half hearted challenges everywhere and only Anita and Hadeira looking like they cared

Too many fans I speak to have this opinion as well. That's why I can't be arsed to get worked up about Ashley. He must be pissing himself laughing at the gullibility of the average Newcastle fan.

That's staggering like, even for him. Absolutely not surprised of course, we've all witnessed it.

There's been a shitload of horrible stats flying around in the last few weeks, but that's the most damning one by a mile. Fucking hell.
