What about Montpellier? MYM's former club, nice home kit and a lovely city in southern France.

Also I'm Norwegian, so no bias there!

The nomadic striker Collins John plays for Pittsburgh Riverhounds*, if that badge hadn't already swayed your vote.

*information taken from Wiki  :hmm:

How is he so rubbish  his club history is ridiculous. Seems to have most recently went to a random Polish team, done rubbish, been sent to their 2nd team who seem to be semi-pro if that, then gets sent to 3rd tier in America.

I think the career highlight for him has to be playing for Gabala FC in Azerbaijan. Being managed by Tony Adams must have been a huge incentive to return from America... :idiot2:

He's had a bizzare career like. Fulham's top scorer in the PL with 11 goals in 05/06. Then nothing from then onwards. Wonder if he had a serious injury or something.

I live 5 minutes from Crystal Palace.

For atmosphere alone I'd probably get myself along in the Holmesdale a few times a season.

It was impossible to get a ticket this season, unless you're a season ticket holder or member. Not sure if I can bring myself to join.

What on Earth is a river hound?! My God

:shifty: It's a team Shola wouldn't start for. Remember that when the camera pans past him while you sing your anthem.

Sick of these cheap shots tbh

I genuinely have never heard of a river hound before. Deal with it.

 I don't know what it is either, but the cheap shot was there for the taking.

Do Baltimore have a team?  The Wire was f***ing ace.

U.S. 4th division

They used to have a club called Crystal Palace Baltimore:

"Baltimore Bohemians were founded in 2011. The club is owned by Louis Angelos, son of Peter Angelos."

Yeah, but their kit is awesome.

It's got the Natty Boh man on it for God's sake!

Speaking of which, I should change my avatar back.

I don't think we should jump on the bandwagon of supporting another club. One of the reasons why I decided not to go to Wembley to see Gateshead play. it's unfair for us to jump on one club then when everything start to become rosy with NUFC we jump straight back. How many would use the other club to show our protest against the regime at NUFC? Too many is my guess, it's not fair on the other club and the loyal fans of the other club.

Myself, both North Shields and Whitley Bay are teams I have been to see in the past, and so are Doncaster. If I can I may see these teams play more often next season, but that would be as well as going to see NUFC.

If I'm throwing my not inconsiderable weight behind a team I am damn sure I'm going to pick one that regularly wins things. Why on earth would i want to pick a team like NUFC? So I can torture myself some more? Fuck that. Bring me some trophies mother fuckers.
