Hughesy
Much much better on Saturday. Looked far more alert and lively and was running at players again.
Wallsendmag
He's a strange one, Perez. He's the one player, probably more than anyone else, who I really thought would really benefit from working with Rafa and his coaching staff every day but he's turned out to be the only player in the squad to regress in that time. Apparently he was far better on Saturday and his assist for the winner was top drawer so hopefully he can kick on with the run of games he'll get in Diames absence because he really needs to finish the season strongly. KaKa
Give him a run on the left if he's going to deliver the ball like that. That was sick.
Hughesy
Love a cross like that - very Solano-esque.

Guest neesy111
Much better from him. Still think he needs to raise his head up on more.
Hanshithispantz
Looks like he's clicked on that he actually needs to try.
STM
Ditto. A couple more goals wouldn't do him any harm too. Was it head or hand?
xLiaaamx
Thought he played really well.
Leazes1986
Much better. He bloody frustrates me when he does needless fouls when trying to win the ball from a defender though. They're always so blatant, when he pushes massive centre backs over, because he doesn't have the strength. Needless.
Gallowgate Toon
Feel like he's always at his best playing off a CF type. I think a little run will be good for him, he's had a relatively stop-start season.

Minhosa
There's an argument to say he cost us the game tonight.
Newcastle Fan
This was a disgraceful performance, i don't understand how we go down a division and he becomes worse.
Guest firetotheworks
Him not squaring it to Richie is the most self centered, moronic, and selfish thing that I've seen from a Newcastle striker since last Saturday.
Dave
I'm obviously in a tiny minority but I thought he was okay tonight. Made too many bad decisions and yeah probably cost us two points but was always involved and made things happen, often through his own hard work (which people won't want to acknowledge). That said, I'd play Diame and Gayle ASAP.
Guest firetotheworks
There's an argument to say he cost us the game tonight. For all that Gayle wins us games that we're not dominating, Mitrovic and this dickhead consistently cost us games that were easier to win.
Karjala
Again showed that he's an average player, decent in spells. Not up to the PL for sure.

U2
Talk about a player going backwards. Will need replacing before next season.

He created his one on one chance with the keeper himself, for example.
