Disco
Should have learnt our lesson with the first de Jong we signed. Aye two de Jongs don't make a right Luuk here, I'm sick of these puns. It's the Siem joke over and over.

Minhosa
A fit SdJ could be the difference this season. Hope he stays and hope we can find enough cotton wool to wrap him up in.
Holloway
Are we ever going to get a run of games out of this fucker ?

Darth Crooks
He's more likely to get the runs.
Lenny
Given the lenience of the refs thus far, even if he gets fit it's not likely he'll survive long
Guest reefatoon
Still holding out for this perma crock to come good is fairytale stuff, it is never going to happen. We will be very lucky to find someone to take him off our hands though.

TRon
If we don't sell him, I could see him getting goals in this division. His movement and late runs into the box from midfield might be harder for championship defenders to pick up than a lone striker.
Guest chopey
I think he would be great in this league, its just that the last time he took a deep breath in August he sucked in a seagull and it broke his lungs.
ohmelads
Early in this window I was all for cutting our losses, because I expected we'd target proven players to go into the first XI. Besides Ritchie and Diame that hasn't happened and we're getting close to the deadline now. We've reached a point now where we can't let him go unless we can bring in quality first, because there's a real lack of invention in midfield and attack. AyeDubbleYoo
I like him a lot and he would add something different to our team, but at the moment it's looking like he's never going to play.

Tiotes Witch Doctor
Can't see him ever being sharp enough to have a prolonged run in the team, would rather bring someone else in and try and ship him out. It reaches a certain point where enough is enough, not his fault of course I'm sure hes working hard to get fit but its no good to us.
TRon
What's the point in shipping him out? Even if he's fit for a dozen games that might make the difference.
ads
I can't help but feel sorry for this guy to be honest. In footballing terms, he's the best player we have for me. Shame he's made out of Weetabix.
