Wallsendmag
We can't bank on getting thrashed in the next two games thanks to the sheer spawn of the man. Spurs and Liverpool will probably put in a stinker of a performance like every other team weve played lately and we will see narrow losses or god forbid even draws and then Pardew will claim we are on the up and Ashley will be lapping it up. Its going to happen. I'm confident of 2 heavy defeats in the next 2 games. Still won't cost him his job though.

ScottishMagpie
He's also been taking full credit for Obertan saying he's been working to build his confidence in pre-season. I loathe this self-promoting scumbag. Missing the bit out when he told him he was free to find a new club. Is that not how you build up someone's confidence? NG32
I said to John ‘We have to win this game’ he's never a football manager in a million years this bloke like He is just a blagger, he has blagged his way through football. All he does is set a team up to "not lose" and has his team graft! We are a shocking side who play shocking football, he has successfully binned off 3 talented techinical players as they dont fit into his "graft at all costs" small time mentallity. I can only see NUFC going one way this season, scary that journos dont see this.

Village Idiot
Unbelievable quotes from Pardew today ... I saw an article on how he claimed a tactical change had helped us win the game on Saturday. Only to discover he was on about the other team's tactical change!!! Apparently our win was down to Pearson bringing on too many forward thinking players. Pardew's blueprint it seems, is waiting for the other team to bring on too many forward thinking players so we can have a chance to win. Just let that sink in. “When they made two forward changes I said to John [Carver]: ‘We have to win this game’," Pardew told the Chronicle. “I knew they’d push and try to open the game up. In a way that kind of helped us.” Gotta love that "lololol those idiots are attacking" mentality.

NG32
He got massively lucky with Obertan actually doing somethimg, now he thinks the clock has been reset and can now have another 10 games to "put things right"
KaKa
That quote also exposes once again that he has no desire to setup his teams to attack, because in his mind it means you will automatically concede. The guy is a complete moron. 11 men behind the ball, and hope for a bit of magic.

NG32
King Harold also suffered the same fate... At the Battle of Hastings King Harold's army was winning the battle by forming a defensive shield...once they decided to break out the shield wall and attack/chase William the Bastard's men down the hill they were butchered by the enemy cavalry. If they kept the shield wall they would have won. Pardew logic wins again.
DJ_NUFC
The shield of self-deception is strong in this one. Leicester were behind our backline a few times with just Krul to beat or one decent touch away from scoring, even before they made those two 'attacking' changes. Any other team would've been two or three up. Ridiculous mentality, this.

All he does is set a team up to "not lose" The main irony being that a cursory glance at 2014's form reveals that the useless spacktard can't even get the 'not lose' bit right the vast majority of the time. A truly joyless, dreary shitty individual.
AlanSkÃrare
I love how he sounds relieved now. As if anything has changed. Still convinced we're f***ing doomed with him in charge, nobody to bail him out. Cissé isn't enough, Obertan has had his moment.
AyeDubbleYoo
It is very weird how everyone seems to think Leicester is some sort of turning point. Heake
I have now emancipated myself from this Footballing self-flagellation & consider myself now immune from the blows the king has been reigning down on me over this past year. As a consequence, I will view this impending capitulation within the context it deserves & will refuse to have my weekend ruined by this windbag of a charlatan. As far as I am concerned - The King is dead. So take your fat mate & your s*** football & shove it up your f***ing Gary you lying narcissistic old t***. Guest Simba
I'm sick of reading people claiming that everything will be all right once Pardew goes back to 4-4-2 Football Manager fans that thinks changing formations solves all problems
Chris_R
Every time I see this thread upped, I hope it's because he's been hit by a speeding bus. I can't believe anyone in the world, from fans to journalists to Mike Ashley or even Pardew himself, can think for one nanosecond that anything is any better because we beat the second worst team in the league, at home, by a single solitary goal. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, and even the worst managers get a win occasionally. I hope we get thrashed in every game until he leaves or is fired, or gets hit by that bus, and if that means we go to the Championship or L1 or whatever, so be it. It's not my money Newcastle United will be losing, I couldn't give a single toss. You reap what you sow Mr Ashley, if you continue to employ this charlatan, you deserve every penny of the financial loss you'll incur as a result and the net effect on me, on any level, will be zero.
