"I think it’s like any player and you can never say never and I definitely learnt that at Newcastle after losing Andy Carroll on the last day of the window.

“So never say never but I think it would take an extraordinary bid to take him away from this football club in the situation we are in.

“And I will be very surprised if any club wanted to make that kind of call."

After the last line he deliberately looks at the camera and smiles. Bloody chairman selling the best players behind Pardew's back ffs.

That little look towards the camera could not be any more David Brent if he tried.

What did he say about the Palace pitch?

It's not for sale, under no circumstances would the club let it go.  Unless it's an astronomical bid, which he doesn't think anyone will make ..... but IF they do, they will have to look at the offer ....  :coolsmiley:

Surreal hearing Palace fans on Soccer AM chanting 'Super Alan Pardew'. Can't decide if I'm happy or disgusted.

I want them to burn

Yeah. I might have felt sorry for them at first but the way they've welcomed him with open arms and tried to re-write OUR history I can't wait for him to destroy them.

I want him to do nothing overtly bad as I want him to stay there, and not be available for hire here.

Pardew generally likes to do it slowly and painfully, sucking the life out of the club.

Perfect.

Just wait till next week when we appoint a 'French nobody' and a 'unheard of forrin puppet'

Just watching the montage at the beginning of the show we all know how this is going to pan out, don't we?
