Robster
"Palace are now in exactly the same position as when Tony took over last year, the same number of points at the same time of the season. I don't think we can match that. "If we can achieve anywhere near what they did then I will be extremely happy because it was extraordinary what they did then. I will be aiming for slightly less." No way. I'm not believing that
Wallace
I so hope our next manager gets us playing good football and we get some really good results to show him up for the charlatan that he is.

Fucking hell  You'd be forgiven for not looking for that particular quote in the "I want to manage England because I'm at the peak of my powers" article. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/551313/Alan-Pardew-Desire-Manage-England

Skeletor
Love how he hasn't been there 5 minutes and he's already pining after the England job. Even when fans show this cunt some love he isn't grateful.
Kanj
Love how people hate Pissdew so much, but surely any manager willing to be a nodding dog under Ashley will be the same? Come in Mssr Garde. Hughton was the exact opposite personality-wise. Also smashed the mackems 5-1. Exactly it's not just his ability as a manager (or lack of) he's a f***ing asshole. People forget we were 8th after that Liverpool game which both the players and manager said was Hughton's win. The financial support from Ashley was also vastly inferior at that point too. Proceeded to have us finish 12th as well. He basically won 5, loss 7, drew 9. Uninspiring cunt.

merlin
Its entirely possible that Pardew will get Palace to a safe position in the PL and then have a decent season(which mean mid-table)with them next season...after all, that is his default performance when joining a new club. We all know what happens after that..... Personally, I think its now time to forget about this egotistic individual and air-brush him from the history of NUFC - he will be forever associated with the Ashley regime and sooner or later, that is going to come to an end. We need to focus on what happens at NUFC next, especially with the replacement for Pardew ; I say 'replacement' because it is still a huge doubt as to whether we get a NEW manager. Carver wants the job, it is highly likely that Ashley & Co want to give it to him but the results so far are not in their favour. This means that they will drag the whole thing out until the transfer window closes and until the results are not as dire when they can say Carver has started to 'use his influence' on the players. There is much talk of Garde, Tuchel etc....fine, unlikely to happen, but better than being obsessed with Pardew - he's gone, never to return to us, and its time to try to forget him, hard as that is....!
