The olympic stadium has been an utter shambles of a project since it started.

Yeah, before it was built everyone knew it would be used as a football stadium, they should have just accepted that fact in the bidding for the Olympic Games and made a stadium fit for football from the off. Now the stadium is just a half arsed mess that won't be fit for purpose. I would suspect that over the years each stand will be altered one by one to make it better for football.

I have been to the stadium and was on one of the seats lower down, even those seats will be terrible viewing for football, so god knows how the ones towards the top will be like.

Apparently a disgrace that speaks volumes about Viktor Orbán and the regime he has built.

Looks lovely though. :D

Going to try and visit this stadium whilst I'm over here.

The wife's family hate Orban with a passion, bent as hell and doesn't even try to hide it, but that's for another thread!!

Much better than Camp Nou's top tier - running track notwithstanding.

Bleh, it's so far away from the pitch though. I wonder what the average West Ham ST holder makes of it all; I'd be pretty gutted about the whole thing I think.

There's come crazy bad views throughout the Premier League though, isn't there? Seem to recall a photograph from the top of the Kop at Liverpool; the only visible section is about the last quarter of the pitch.

That's the bottom of the top tier which is about 35% of the way up.

It makes brilliant sense to West ham, financially, to move there. And if they progress as a club and see some success maybe the fans will overlook what they're giving up by moving.

Can't see that happening tbh.

Better quality view from a bit higher up in the 2nd tier.  I think it's a great view of the pitch, personally.  I mean, of course it could be closer, but it's certainly not "bad".  New roof and lights are impressive too

It's fucking miles away!

So? You don't need to see the spots on the players faces ffs   Why do you have to be sat on the sideline for it to be a "good view"?  I mean, yeah, you're right.. it is far away. But it's not a "bad view" (?)
