Would be really cool if they came up with a homage to St James Park in a new version of it, not sure what that means but just something to feel like the charm of our SJP in new form.

See Spurs stadium has a Bevertown micro brewery inside.  Gamma ray £5 a pint is fucking amazing value for a ground and in London

Apparently the beer is all priced between 4 and 5 quid a pint, as you say, pretty decent for a football ground in London.

It’s all about encouraging the fan away from the local businesses who in the eyes of the club steal their money. Get there early and drink / eat in the safety of the stadium away from undesirables in the locale.

San Siro likely to be destroyed.  :(

Tantamount to a criminal act but probably necessary.

 One of my favourite stadiums, particularly from the outside it's really something to behold. This news is made worse by the fact they're looking to base the new design on some NFL Stadium, which in truth looks the same as lots of the newer builds. A big bowl, essentially.

Yup it's easily my favourite stadium along with SJP. Completely unique and a real site to behold when you approach it.

Both clubs know that stadium ownership, and controlling revenue streams, is vital to keep up with Juventus and other European Clubs. So this is necessitated. Even buying the stadium from the council and renovating it isn't really possible, because I don't think it's viable to play in it while renovation goes on and unlike Spurs with Wembley there is nowhere else in Milan to play home games.

It's a crying shame though. As impressive as the likes of Spurs and Atletico's new stadiums are, football is going to lose a lot over the coming decades when every big club ends up with ground built for the modern era.
