Am sticking with this seasons atm after seeing those pics but will try it on when it comes out and that might change my mind. I’m most looking forward to the 3rd kit. Hopefully they don’t mess that up, it has potential to be class.

It’s maybe not as bad as I thought first glance.. it’s the cheap looking club crest and white back that let it down.

 

The design on the stripes is actually decent.

It looks shite, but it’s adidas, we had 15 years previously to learn that their kit designs are fucking awful. 

 

Ultimately the point is money, and they’ve put more wedge down than any other manufacturer, so they’re onboard.  Football kits need no more than one iteration; what worked in 1894 works today (would still like to see us bring back blue shirts).  Most football kits are bought by kids, and they won’t give too much of a shite re the aesthetics

Pretty much same as this year (black) but hooped on top rather than just white.

 

Also think the home shirt is better than the reaction - a JD coathanger photo doesn't do it anywhere near enough justice imo.

Slightly off topic but is Liverpool’s shirt this season the worst design to have ever won the title since the Premier League was formed ?

 

Nike created an abomination, the collar design stinks worse than a trout fillet taped to a radiator

Aye..said it earlier. All the club needs to do is release images of Tonali, Bruno, Big Jo and Schar in that kit, and it will fly off the shelves at all outlets. It's not a disaster of a design, not the best either but get those players in it and it probably change a lot of minds.

@Kid Icarus would you be able to come up with an image if the colours were inverted? Meaning with a black back instead of white, the white at the shoulders were black? Don't know about a white collar but I'd have wanted a black back seeing this season we already had a white patch at the back.

Ah it would take forever tbh, it all looks like one thing but there are tons of different shapes all over it to get it to look like that

We'll never get a black back because, to the eye, a solid black space looks far less empty than a solid white space. It's all about the extra £15 for personalisation on top of the extra £40 for the 'authentic' version.
