I’d say last season’s kit was okay - good nod to the sir Bobby kit but nothing special - but it was the trophy-winning kit. This season’s blue kit is a banger, good nostalgic nod and would have been an absolute classic. But it will be associated with our away form (or lack of it) in this year. What about the stripes on the sleeves not aligning with the stripes on the shoulders though ? The shirt should be burnt in the fires of hell for that alone. If a plain black and white stripe polo shirt design was going to be the greatest selling shirt in history then that is what we would get, year after year. My pal was a football shirt designer for the elite global clubs and he would sometimes put controversial designs out there just to be a rascal.
