I really like this seasons home shirt but the thick, black, rancid collar on the fan version is very off-putting. I know you can’t have it on players version these days because it adds weight and isn’t ideal, but the fans should be getting a harder wearing shirt. I always presume working for adidas on our kits must be like being a producer for MTV where you're able to come up with the daftest or most low-rent show concept possible knowing that there will be plenty of people who would do anything to become "celebrities" who will happily apply to be on it and go along with whatever you want them to do. In this case, short of giving us something in red and white stripes, adidas knows full well they'll sell an absolute ton of them. That said, you'd think the club would (maybe they have) instruct adidas to do something a bit more "universal" as it were given our deal is split between the upfront money and revenue share.
