Top left is best. That's how it should be done going forward.

The ASICS one, with a stick on patch.

I'm sure they'd be plenty moaning that is was "just a patch and why can't we have an embroidered badge"

To be fair it's lasted a load better than some of the puma attempts

Same shirt as last year with the stripes reversed. Last year white stripe centered, this year black stripe centered; last year white stripe on top of the shoulders, this year black stripe on top of the shoulders; last year white black white round collar, this year black white black vee collar.  FUN88 vs. SELA = wash for me. I was hoping for Arabic writing.

Anyone ever had one of the pro shirts? I know the price is insane even for a regular shirt these days but just wondering if there’s any significant difference - bar the stick on crest.

Don't know for certain but I assumed they were a tighter fit

Stick on crest and doesn’t it have like breathable holes

It's made from a different, far more lightweight material. Way more breathable as well. If you've ever bought a dedicated top for exercise they're similar to that.

I saw quite a number of people wearing the new kit over the weekend from kids to older aged adults and I have to say worn, it looks a bit cheap and nasty and not as nice in the flesh as it appears on the promos. Not that I’ll be buying any mind, but if there are quality issues over stitching etc. the club really needs to take Castore to task over this because fans are paying extremely good money for these kits which are already massively overpriced to start with.

That said, I do find it hard to sympathise with anyone kicking off over this when they are happy to queue for ages and spend so much money to buy what is essentially overpriced tat. Surely when you buy a top you’d try it on and check the overall quality etc? Maybe stitched badges need to be a thing of the past full-stop going forward…

You find it hard to sympathise with someone who's queued for hours and paid a fortune for something that's essentially flawed because they've complained about it?

Tell me you're a tory without telling me you're a tory.

It was really difficult to take time to consider the shirt carefully and even try it on at the weekend like, it was more like 'run in, grab what you can and get to the checkout'. That's part of the reason I didn't buy one.

It was a bit of a reality check when I actually got to the shop, because the images looked so class but the actual shirt just looked like a normal top with quality that really should cost a lot less.

Yeah, like a slimmer cut - unfortunately I don't have a physique like Bruno so don't think I can get away with them any more.

I’m being harsh I know, but yeah. Fans in general will buy any old tat and especially NUFC fans as evidenced by full houses week in week out under Ashley. There should be a level of expectation of decent quality, however, which is on Castore and the club and it looks bad for both. But those same people complaining will be there to buy a kit after next season. I mean one guy queuing to buy this season’s new Castore top while wearing last season’s Castore top basically said their designs were crap, but he was first in line…

And no I’m not a Tory, not that being one makes one a bad person or uncaring and especially one for not feeling any real sympathy for people who line up to pay top money for tat.

Overall though, my lack of sympathy aside, fans and indeed customers do deserve better and in the commercial world no-one gets the short end of the stick more than your average football fan who get ripped off due to their loyalty and basically treat like crap by all and sundry. Hopefully our own club will be treating fans with much more respect going forward, which they look like they have been doing since the takeover.

I saw loads at the Fender gig on Saturday and thought it looked just as good as the promo shots if not better! It's an absolutely brilliant shirt man.

Bought the pro away shirt last month by mistake. It's quite a slim fit, but feels amazing on. Even though I look a bit silly in it – should give me motivation to put a shift in though

This is how I feel about the shirt on its way to me and that's a large non-pro.

Why so miserable, man? It’s a football shirt. If you don’t want to eat into your bespoke fedora budget then that’s on you.

No need to scoff at fans wanting to don the colours; some of them were queuing up for their kids too.
