NUFC kits & merchandise

They won't have the stripes right round the back but if they did then I think it would be a very nice kit

People been saying for years there's only so much you can do with black and white stripes - then when they do something different there's uproar

There's messing with the design and making something cohesive (not this) then there's making one where the front stripes don't marry up to the sleeves and the back is all white (this). If the design was cohesive it would be odd but memorable, that's not what this is. Taste.

That ‘new badge’ on that pin thing is fucking honking and compared to the current one is heinous. Anyone who would like that or even not mind it as our new crest I’m convinced is a toucher.

Where's this? Don't see it on image and I don't have Times sub. (and not sure how you get past paywall these days)

I think this looks budget tbh, like a St Mirren shirt.

From the latest releases, is that top middle crest a one anyone recognises?

Don't think I've seen that iteration before? I could be too young or something

Not sure about that. People in here are making class kits. It should not be that hard . The problem is when you start mixing in colors and spikes etc..

Ah cheers. Aye - shite

It’s not a new crest design FFS, it’s just something someone knocked up for a pin badge.

I think.

I don't really like or want them to mess with the stripes in principle, but in isolation I actually like the kit.

I get the purists who want to always have the stripes traditional, but we are due a change up once in a while.

I was always a fan of the old badge which was copied by Sunderland, so I will be sad to see that go.

It's a shite pin badge.

(But I give it more concern that a random pin badge in the context of them designing a new badge, and there being a similar leaked crest that it was apparently mooted).

For what it’s worth, the club are supposed to conduct feedback with fan over the badge and have said themselves that it will go to a fan vote.

If they threw out a finished badge in promo pics for a merchandise launch ahead of them, then they could be in trouble as it would indicate that their decision has already been made which would go against both the FA’s FAB requirements, and the new football regulators requirements.

It’s also humongously shit and would be a big misstep at a time when the first genuine questions are being asked about how serious they are.
