NUFC kits & merchandise

Recommended Posts

We are going to get pelters in the social media for trying something different. I find it hilarious that the majority of our fans just want simple kits and or are tied to history and nostalgia. Don’t change our badge. Don’t fuck with the stripes. It’s that simple. Yet the club think changing it all will drive some massive stream of income. It screams lack of connection to the fans and paying a McKinsey consultant for ideas. Trying something new to increase revenues is not it when it’s such a polarising design to our clubs history. Releasing classic and nostalgic shit sells for us fans who bought nothing during the Ashley days. The easiest win for this club is to just play into that into off pitch stuff and yes on pitch stuff. But hey what do i know. This leaked home kit is fucking ass. I can’t believe the club actually think this is a good idea.

No idea if this was a legit item from the ASICS era in the 90s but it goes without saying that it is absolutely top class.

I know we don't like our stripes to be messed with, but I wouldn't mind this or something similar as a one off in the future.

Track top still not on the Adidas site.  Frustrating!

Looks like if you look at the arsenal release they also didn't get the track top so I recon it is exclusive retail partner only just not sure if thats short term or forever.

That could easily be worn in either new monkey or a rugby club.

I don’t give a shite about the badge, but the kit design isn’t even aesthetically pleasing.  It’s B&W stripes - it’s not hard to get right.  This was always the worry with adidas for me - most of their kit designs were absolutely shite.

Fuck no.

Burgundy yeah, but not red.

Red is the colour of our traditional away kit, as well as being the only other home colour we’ve ever worn as Newcastle United.  No issues with red top white shorts for me.
