Supafans walking out after Kane scores the 3rd in the 91st minute was just the right time to make a stand I thought. Seriously did anyone think we'd win it? Why bother fucking going if you know you're gonna leave when the inevitable happens??

Attendance is always tickets sold, so any season ticket holder who didn't show up is still included.

Load of bollocks really. At least the team took part in the protest by not showing up.

Ah-boom-tish.

hardly enough empty seats to notice anyway. Shame on those that went. You did not support your team and gave Ashley and carver a big thumbs up in the process.

I'm pleased Sky have finally had a real discussion on it.  It's taken them years, but they finally realise we're an absolute mess of a club with zero ambition.  There's not even talk of delusion anymore, because Pardew isn't there to spin doctor it away.

He sympathises with the fans

He's sick of owners up and down the football league exploiting teams

Who wants to finish 12th and 13th every year the cups are for the fans

We've become boring to watch

He also said he couldn't understand why Ashley wanted to own the club if it's boring to watch and he doesn't want to win anything.

I was praying for him to take his argument to the obvious conclusion and make the connection that the club is just a cash cow for Ashley but he didn't do it.

Carver blaming the players now saying they are probably not good enough.

Needs 2 strikers on the pitch from now on 'cos you win games by scoring goals'

Next week; Rocket Science.

tentative start

great start to second half

conceded a poor goal

team keeps having a go but they're not good enough

Carver's job to find a way of playing

Wants to play with 2 strikers from now on

Never really threatened in the second half with 2 strikers

Tried to get attacking players on the pitch, went 3-4-3

Huge kick in the teeth to concede the second

Enough experience in dressing room to deal with situation

players and staff need to sort out situation

Carver's interview

Carver is clueless. Asked what he saw in that game to try and change things he starts talking about using players experience, going with a second striker and admits some of them are not good enough. At least he realised some of the players are not good enough with a non performance from Gouffran again. When Ameobi and Obertan are your game changes that says everything!

In all honesty some of the players with experience have let us down - Coloccini at Everton and Sissoko at Liverpool. The bench with the likes of Armstrong, Woodman, Sterry, Kemen, Satka and Robert's in recent games are not going to change things and he said in previous games he didn't want to stall their development.

A poor game and disappointing that some fans are outside protesting and then still go to the game. I'm fine with people still going because that's their decision, however to complain about the situation and still go doesn't make sense. We are a club in trouble.
