Guest Roger Kint
what an absolute joke, ah well, start as you mean to go on Gateshead will be a understrength team, Shef Utd is a testimonial so not even fit to class as a pre season work out, we are basically having 3/4 kick abouts and one match at SJP to whore out the new members kit Incredible they had no plans at all until after the season ended, if we did get relegated would York have turned us down? Definitely bodes well for our transfer policy this summer as both were allegedly in progress back in Feb/March
maybe_next_year
From nufc.com re: the american part of our plans: Total mileage of this 2015 tour?, 10,780 miles..... I'm just surprised we're not having some sort of shit-off with Oldham/Rangers in a sports-direct cup.

Memphis
How in the world does it do anything for this club to play reserve sides and lower-league teams in relatively unfancied cities? This will be ignored by all in the US media except a few local TV/radio stations in each city. If this is designed to raise our profile, it will be a complete waste of all kinds of time and money. We played Orlando 4 years ago when they weren't yet an MLS team, too. I went to Kansas City that year, watched training, went to the match. It was in a very nice stadium in a large city against an actual MLS side who was decent. The trip itself was ridiculous but at least the standard of opponent was OK. The media coverage was pretty extensive. What we're doing now is, as per our norms, completely idiotic.
Ryan
God I hate Lee Charnley, getting paid for doing such a ridiculously shoddy job in every aspect he is involved in.

Figures 1-0 Football
July 29th York vs NUFC Doncaster vs Sunderland Good luck East coast trains! Can't wait for this to result in only season ticket holders with 100+ loyalty points or three arms being able to buy away tickets. Unless you pay £200 per year and upgrade to the new membership scheme.

Kevo
Barely even 2nd rate opposition during the whole pre season. Stinks of a club who havent planned a f***ing thing. What exactly were Carver and Charnley doing for 3 months when they 'prepared' for the summer? Except Borussia Monchengladbach. They will batter us if they are at full strength! Followed them quite a bit this season (well watched four matches and bet on them about twenty times). But aye before that a bunch of garbage sides. We will still find a way of struggling to win many. That game will just be a leaisurely kick about while whoring the new members kit for mugs to buy. It will be just like that terrible Sociedad game last year(except BM will score a few)

NUFCDoog
That York game is going to be such a mess. Mackems down at Doncaster the exact same night, bound to be a load of them hangng around in York mid afternoon as well you would think. Its got potential for a right nightmare on the trains and in the stations etc. Who the fuck plans something like that, of all nights to play they choose the same bloody one! Its got potential for a right nightmare on the trains and in the stations etc. Who the fuck plans something like that, of all nights to play they choose the same bloody one! I suppose the saving grace is that many Newcastle fans will go down to York and make a day of it, like I'm planning (though I'm planning to drive). There is nothing in Doncaster to make a day of it, so Sunderland fans for the most part would probably go down later in the day. On the way back there can be up to an hours difference between Doncaster and York, so you would imagine that a lot of Newcastle fans should be back before Sunderland fans. Also many people may actually opt to stay in York for a night out.
