Guest
Obviously he's unqualified for this job, we should be going for people like Klopp. But on the basis we won't do that, I would like this to happen. Has he done his badges? What I'm excited about is that he'd be the first of the new crop of managers we've probably ever appointed.
Guest firetotheworks
It's a bad appointment (providing it happens) dressed up as a forward thinking, ambitious one. It's a trick, a fairly obvious one as well. To everyone it'll be seen as 'The unknown beats the known as being shit.' But employing someone that you know is bad and employing someone that you don't know anything about are as bad as each other when you could and should be employing someone that's known as good. Think of it that way.
BillClinton
Imagine going from people like Pardew and Carver to someone as classy as Vieira.. I don't know if he'd be a good manager or not but at least I'd respect him.
Klaus
Heard he's best mates with Obertan and Gouffran.

Dr Venkman
Still offering the most important job at the club to people because: 1) They're cheap 2) They'll accept players coming and going without their say 3) They'll work with the idiots we gave 8 year contracts to 4) We won't have to pay compensation His name is irrelevant. That's the basis we hire on, it hasn't changed since Keegan left. I'd be very surprised if Vieira is coming in on the cheap mind, he's probably on more than the rest of our staff put together at the moment. He's got no management experience, he'll be relatively cheap like Pardew, just for different reasons.

We know things about Vieira, though. He's achieved things with the City youth and he's basically single-handedly made Diembars a Senegalse powerhouse through the way they have been developing their youth. This as well as having been used to provide advice/schemes for various clubs, such as Tromsø, in regards to their youth development, which in turn has made Tromsø the go-to club in Norway with regards to talentful youth - as if by some bizarre coincidence. Also aided the Strømsgodset youth set-up a few years back as part of their feeder agreement with City, now they as well produce talentful youth after years of being shit at it. Guest firetotheworks
People saying he's never done anything. Neither had keegan. Got to start somewhere Exactly, Keegan had been playing golf on the Costa Del Sol for 8 years before managing us, at Least Vieira is still involved in the game and at a top club as well. It's a gamble, but why not? Keegan also came in as an ex-club legend when we were bottom of the 2nd division. Times have completely changed and that's before getting into the fact that the season hasn't started yet and we could make an informed and good appointment without doing so as an act of desperation to get us out of the mire. Andymc1
Personally, I think this would be a massive gamble but one that I'm behind. Paddy is a bit of a legend in my house - my brother is a Arsenal fan.

Mistle17
Even if he does sign, we'll have to buy nearly a whole new squad of players. That's really the deciding factor of whether there is thought or a plan behind Viera. Again, I'm very sceptical of this and I don't know why you wouldn't be. The people who run our club are true scum, and should not be forgiven or allowed to stay. The attidue towards Ashley can't soften. The damage done to NUFC by him is nearly unrepairable and he should be hounded out as soon as possible- potential appointments like Viera should not distract fans from this. This attempted move will fit in perfectly with Ashley's hollow aspirations of winning a Champions League place. He knows what he's doing and people will lap it up. 'He's changed, he's changed!!', people will cry to a David Craig interview whilst in line for the new home strip. Do not trust this club.
