Shak Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 If it's who McClaren wants then I don't really have a problem with it, I do think there is some merit to having a local lad on the staff. His last two jobs as manager have been disasters no doubt, but being assistant is far less challenging. Of course the problem is that he'll be made manager if McClaren ever leaves in a cost saving move, but then that's true of almost anyone we could appoint.
