Colos Short and Curlies
Just had the pleasure of telling a palace supporting colleague of what to expect from woodmans coaching. He thinks they are after obertan as well
Tooj
So does anybody know much about our incoming goalkeeping coach?

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Is this Simon Smith chap good? He did work for us when we had the likes of Given and Harper on the books. Sound as owt when I went to his keeper coaching classes as a 10-year-old. He might've changed in the 16 years since but he was really encouraging and seemed to put a bit of thought into what he was teaching, not just lumping balls at us for the sake of it. EDIT: his son Ben was also in our academy when he was here under SBR, too. Anyone know what ever became of him?
Guest Howaythetoon
Heard one or two good things about him when I was into coaching. He can't be any worse than Woodman!
Nattfare
A monkey without arms and legs could probably coach goalkeepers better than Woodman.
Dave
It's been particularly pleasing during my time here to have worked with Tim Krul and played a part in him rising through the ranks to become the Club's first choice goalkeeper and a regular international. *snigger*

Cort
Krul played more games than Harper in 2010/11 season. Yes but he wasn't first choice. Which is why Hughton reverted back to Harper after he had recovered from his injury.

healthyaddiction
Seems a bunch of old players are pushing for Harper to be our next Keeper coach. Seen tweets from Given & Lee already which people seem to be wetting themselves with excitement over. Personally I'd prefer someone experienced and with a track record of success at developing players and a strong reputation in the game.
captainhaircut
Rob Lee is such a twat. Yammering on about Harper loving and knowing the club. Has no one learned a lesson from the Carver debacle?
