khay
Cathy will still. Simpson/Black to be shown the door. Rest will sip from Rafa teets until the end of the season when he makes his mind up and if we are safe. Or we go down and Simpson & Cathro become our Hughton & Calderwood. Then we sell Armstrong for 80 million the following season -
Mick
I don't expect too much to change if Benitez has clauses in his contract.
timeEd32
Cathro and Smith staying. The rest are out. The Club can also confirm the appointment of Fabio Pecchia, Francisco de Míguel Moreno, Antonio Gómez Pérez, who will join Ian Cathro and Simon Smith to form Benitez's coaching team. Paul Simpson, Alessandro Schoenmaker and Steve Black will part company with the club with immediate effect.
toontownman
I'd like to think they keep Cathro at the club. No idea why though other than a hope he is as highly rated as they said he was and a change of manager will help him realise that here. Clean break is generally the best in these type of situations. Moreno didn't bring much results but the other two have been with him in Napoli/Liverpool/Madrid (and/or). E: Moreno, fitness coach, also with him in Liverpool, Inter and Chelsea. timeEd32
From AS when they were hired at Real Madrid: Fabio Pecchia (1973) Ex-Juventus and Napoli player. He was Benítez’s second in command at Napoli. Antonio Gómez (1973) He was the training ground assistant and and analist under Benítez at Napoli. Paco de Miguel. Fitness trainer who worked with Quique Flores and Valencia and Getafe before joining the coaching staff under Benítez at Liverpool. They two also worked together at Napoli. Lush Vlad
So I hope we were all right and we see changes in how we play. It did seem like the coaching staff, were doing very little coaching. I still have no idea what our style of play was? We didn't have any pattern to our play or regular traits. Well, apart from conceding shit goals and Jack Colback, passing it backwards. It could be too little too late, for us to see much of an upturn. But I would expect to see some changes. Even in such a short space of time.
