Bloke at work told us it was "sad" to take a half day to watch the match. Meanwhile he's going to the pub for the first half then back to work.

I'm also doing that (pub for the first half and back to work after) and I can confirm that I am indeed sad, very sad.

I booked off every day we're playing. The games are shown in work but it isn't the same.

All of our games are at pretty decent times tbf

The English mentality is so strange, we love slating our sportspeople for some reason. Don't get me wrong, Sterling's been frustratingly poor, but you're right...that's not gonna help him in the slightest. The rugby coach Eddie Jones alluded to it some weeks back after George Ford missed a few kicks at goal, was visibly dumbfounded as to why the press went to town on him, especially after a good win against Wales.
