Why has Southgate not continued with 3 at the back?

Really suited the current crop of players I thought. Many of whom have experience of that with their clubs.

England never look convincing in this setup.

There's no setup in the world which will make Delli Alli, Dier and Livermore midfield look good, not a creative player among them.

Dele Alli isn't creative?

No he is a goalscorer and has fantastic movement and instincts but he doesn't have the vision or creativity we ask him to play. For Spurs they have Eriksen to do that job among others.

Wouldn't be so bad if we picked Dier AND Livermore mind, although it's not going to matter against Scotland obviously.

If he kept himself fit I wouldn't be averse to putting s ludicrously large bid in for the The Ox. Massive untapped potential still.

Get his girlfriend to put in a good word

I'd say that was a tad unfair. He's a very skilful player who is well capable to create goals for himself and others in my opinion.
