It's just a bunch of athletes out there for the most part. If Shelvey didn't have a peanut for a brain he should breeze into this midfield. It is completely devoid of any passing. It's a real shame he got ditched. Think he has a lot of sense and idea of what needs sorting, and he would be brave enough to pick people that can actually play and not over rely on reputations. Every qualifying game this decade the players have know that all they have to do is give 60% and they'll ease to a result, so atleast they are getting an actual competitive game.
