I'd like to say it was because Dier went CB but it started a little before then. Columbia dropped back and we looked a lot better. We let them dictate the game far too much for a decent chunk. Bringing Dier on was a massive mistake IMO, they were doing nothing before that sub. We can't defend on the backfoot at all so i hope he learnt from it and in the future brings Loftus Cheek on if he wants to close out a game. But he did rectify that in the 2nd half of extra time. That Colombia strike before the goal as well, insane. Loved the drama after a fairly dull game that struggled to get into any real flow due to stoppages and annoying crowding of the referee.
