triggs
"I'm devastated my goals didn't keep us up". Cheeky fucker! His cowardly performances, especially away from home, easily cost us at least 2 points which makes him the player who relegated us. Did he actually say that? If so, what a cunt
Elliottman
11 goals and he spend a large chunk of the season hiding and not trying. Imagine if his attitude didn't stink?! Could have got 15-20 goals FFS. 11 goals from a midfielder is pretty good like. If he was hiding, how was he getting on the end of those chances? I think it's more a case of him not really relishing the dogfight nature of English football. But the way Rafa sets the team up he wouldn't necessarily need to do as much of that. He scored 8 of his goals in 3 games.
Altamullan
I bet he's awesome at Laserquest: keeps out of the way, hardly gets shot at, then pops up and blasts the hell out of everybody before disappearing again.

AyeDubbleYoo
I'm not sure attitude is his problem TBH, I just think he lacks what it takes to really impose himself on a PL game. Especially in a shit team like ours which is chasing the ball 80% of the time. I would definitely give him another shot under Rafa, like most of the players. Sho Time
I'm not sure attitude is his problem TBH, I just think he lacks what it takes to really impose himself on a PL game. I disagree, he's supremely talented in comparison to all of our players and if he wanted to he could have performed far better. His attitude is his main problem which is proven by how fantastic he was at the beginning of the season when he wanted to be here. I would give him a shot under Rafa, but I don't think for one second he will be here at the end of the window, he'll be first off I reckon.
Disco
First season playing in a team that doesn't dominate the ball, get forward in numbers, have disgusting pace on the wings and doesn't play 4-3-3. Couldn't and possibly didn't want to adapt his game to fit in unfortunately. Made all the more annoying given that he technique is absolutely superb. He'll be a good buy for someone. morla84
Didn't give a shit and still ended up top scorer, would snap someone's arm off for 25m to take him n Sissoko off our hands

Some of his touches are absolutely outstanding, as is his close control. When he was arsed and in a great run of form, he was holding players off and dribbling through etc. I think he'll always be someone that plays within himself and never try to run games, somewhat; but if he plays for the right team for him next season he'll bag close to 15 goals, I'm sure. Zero
I think it is down to that fact that he didnt take any risk when there was possibilities of being tackled in order to avoid injury. Whether this is his style or simply he dun give a fuck for us since he is targetting big clubs....i dont know, my take is on the latter but i hope he proved me wrong. mighty__mag
Think it's slightly over the top the amount of stick he's getting. I am with the people arguing his application during games, that's not up for debate. But in a season that's seen him debut and put 11 goals and 5 assists in with a side that create nothing hardly, and don't score, managed by an utter clown in his early stages, and swapped from Defensive mid, attacking mid, right attacking mid, left attacking mid, centre forward and even left back, he's no doubt found it hard to settle, 2 managers, and a whole new culture and playing personnel. He's now even saying he doesn't mind playing in the championship and will allow Newcastle or if true, Rafa to decide his future. You can look and use the Mitrovic debate, loads of fans members claim he's crap and should be written off, but more of a percentage probably saying "he's 21 still it's his first season, he's nearly hit double figures" etc etc. Really we aught to give all the newbies another chance and clear out the ones that have made this team what it is and has been for ages, crap! Those players Sissoko,Colo,Taylor, Tiote,Cisse, even Colback, utter garbage that lot. there will be some of the above here many fans tug over, but they are sh*t and have been for some time. I'd be prepared to give Mitrovic Gini, even Thauvin more time, because we allowed the other mercs above that chance. As much as it's true Gini has been missing he deserves a small amount of credit due to transitional season and bizarrely id love it if we kept him on, he would p*ss the championship and probably be on 15-20 goals by January, and then a huge offer would come in. Then Raffa or whoever should decide his future. Better for us imo.

There's potentially a very good player in there, and the way we were controlling the ball so well against Spurs, who's to say he won't look a lot better next season as the players start getting used to the Rafa way. We looked comfortable for the first time in possession in that final game, and while it's probably true Spurs weren't putting us under that much pressure, I do think it was down to our formation and the players starting to understand their positions better.
