Aiston
He as shown his quality in home games so for me it's all down to McLaren's tactics away from home. They just don't understand what he wants from them. Cannot blame tactics when the player just refuses to get himself involved in the game as much as he did last night. ujpest doza
He's a crock of shit. Got nothing to do with tactics, he's just a bottling cunt who plays one decent game in 10 and only at home in big games when he can be bothered.
ikri
Can only assume that the only reason he wasn't subbed last night instead of Saivet is that he was so anonymous that even the coaching staff forgot he was on the pitch.
Jesse Pinkman
What was he actually doing last night? He didn't seem to be dropping short or wanting the ball at all. People claim Colback hides but this guy took it to a new level last night, by hiding behind Barry all game. Pathetic.
Guest reefatoon
Have to say like, that was a shambolic performance from him. He can't go hiding like that and expect to get away with it. Fucking awful, just like the rest of them.
AyeDubbleYoo
Drop him for Doumbia for a couple of away games.
Guest reefatoon
Yep, it's pointless playing one up top, and him sitting behind being completely anonymous, offering nothing to support the attacker or being available to link up the midfield. Just an absolute waste of time. I always thought you could tell what Shola would be like after about 2 minutes of a game. The same seems to apply with this lad. Might as well just sub him after 2 mins when you can see he is going to do fuck all, as it is just a waste of a shirt when he plays like that

triggs
Didn't help him that McClaren blatantly picked the wrong striker just cos he's got a new contract Or maybe because the other one never scores
Leazes_End_Mag
Didn't help him that McClaren blatantly picked the wrong striker just cos he's got a new contract Or maybe because the other one never scores I hope you're not indicating that Perez was chosen because he's a goalscorer. Neither of them will get 10 goals and that, along with being unable to keep clean sheets is why we will go down.

Not to mention that Perez isn't a striker.
Memphis
In the last two second halves, away at Watford and last night at Everton, Wijnaldum completed a grand total of 18 passes, only 4 of which were forward passes in the opposition's half. In the second half of the West Ham match alone, he completed 28 passes, 8 of which were forward passes in the opposition half. Very worrying.
KaKa
He's not really a number 10 IMO. More of a second striker if anything. He needs to play off of a front man that holds the ball up and links play. He will not look to drop into spaces get on the ball and influence things at all. With Ayoze up front alone we needed a number 10 that played that way, and he doesn't, and it was a huge issue yesterday.
triggs
Think Unbelievable said when he was in his best form that he was surprised he was playing so well and that he didn't think he'd keep it up. At the time we probably didn't want to believe it but it looks like he was probably correct

He has been when he's played RM but thats why we've apparently put him on the left, so he can get crosses in for Mitro. Mind you, it is the local media who reported that. Tsunami
He struggles badly away from home because of the way we set up and the areas of the pitch we usually gain possession (deep in our own half). We either have to change tactics or we may as well not play him in away games. We were set up to fail last night.

Disco
He's been shite away, yes, but the way we set up uninterested in attacking and just booting it lot to Mitro isn't exactly helping his cause. The games he's been OK in away have unsurprisingly been the rare ones when we've looked to move the ball through the middle along the floor at a pacer quicker than 0. It's a tough one to drop him as he's one of the few players we have who can score but at the same time it might be the kick up the arse he needs.
