Nothing to say Ritchie couldn't score 15-20 Mitro and and Gayle could get near 20 each and the rest could come from Diame who got 10 last season and maybe a few from shelvey few from hayden and a few from the CB's on corners and such.

Plus we might even get a solid goalscoring winger yet and another striker capable of tucking a few away.

  25 each.

Temper your expectations a bit, man. Dunno about you but I can't be fucked with the misery of Fulham/Huddersfield again. Most of that was because, deep down, all summer I'd been looking forward to us walking the division just like last time. Can't remember the last time I felt so sore after a couple of defeats.

We might go up but it isn't going to happen the same way.

I suspect Ritchie will get like 10 max. He seems more provider than scorer. Think Gayle and Mitro could well get 50 between them though.

 Calm doon. 50 between them ffs.

Anno right? 50 each at least ffs

Gayle could well get 30 at this rate so it's not that unrealistic. I don't see us winning many 1-0's with this defence...

tbh I just don't get the mitro love but I don't outright hate him or anything. Just think he's an average striker at best and limited further by his temper. The passionate radgie archetype doesn't appeal to me.

Regarding the temperament, he'll grow up. Especially now that we've got a proper manager he can respect and learn from. I strongly doubt he'll ever be 'great' but he's certainly good at holding the ball up and bringing others into play and he will get goals. Perhaps not enough to to justify the team being built around him but his finishing will only improve too. Not getting the no.9 shirt is the best thing that could've happened to him this summer. He'll play both without pressure and the incentive to earn it over time. We'll see a better NUFC with him available again.

Who at 21 years old wasn't an 'average striker' besides Lukaku?

He's average (PL quality) for 21. In 5 years time he'll be average for 26. The statement was about potential. End of the day, I don't think he will develop that much more; many apparently do and that's fine, I'm not really knocking anyone's opinion but just saying I don't see it.

You could not be more wrong. You could try, but you would not be successful.
