AyeDubbleYoo
He arrived late a few times, but if you ask me he should be playing with Gayle. We need someone who can capitalise on what Shelvey and Merino bring us too. It's quite a difficult choice, Perez seems to offer quite a lot in terms of mobility, closing down etc.
Guest firetotheworks
Hates getting in to the box as well as he did otherwise. It was funny watching him laying the ballroom Aarons and then doing his upmost to not get into the box. That's why he's a poor striker imo. So fuck. He came on and contributed more than any of our other strikers have in 4 games, within 20 minutes. Well Gayle has scored and had a goal wrongly disallowed within the last 4 games, like. Guest
At the moment that weakness isn't such a problem IMO, because we actually need someone to come to feet and link the play. And who will be there to get onto the ball from a Ritchie or Aarons cross? The whole situation with our strikers is that all have massive faults. It was a decent cameo by humans he should start next game but I'd bet we still have the same issues we are having with our strikers going forward. His disallowed goal he was in a decent position for the pull back from Yedlin and it was a good finish. The keeper & defender on the line hadn't stopped either so it's not as though they'd have stopped it had it been onside.
Guest neesy111
Can't believe I've seen two posts in a row to judge how good each striker is by the disallowed goal they scored. That shows how be our striking situation is.

xLiaaamx
He comes deep, Perez goes in behind. Thats how they work as a pair. That could all be taken wrong.

Guest
5 goals in 87 minutes while he's played this season. 8 goals in 1,173 minutes while he's not played this season.
nufcjb
Think it would be good to pair him with Gayle. He would get the knock downs and also hold up / link up play and Gayle would run off on that. How many games did we have those 2 as our front 2 last season in the Championship? Guest
Don't think they started any. There were a few times when we were chasing a game (Norwich at home for example) but most of the time he was coming on for him late on to see results out rather than when we were chasing a goal. SUPERTOON
Expect him to start away to Chelsea, get zero support and to be dropped for Joselu for the next ten.
Figures 1-0 Football
As we all expected, he brought more to the 20 minutes that he played than Joselu has in the last 5 games. His hold up play, passing and general work rate have all improved significantly.
Altamullan
Noticed that he has become a much better player (in my mind) since he's been not playing! Possibly absence of seeing errors but also find myself thinking he couldn't do worse, which is perhaps a bit unkind re Joselu, and may be ready for a real rum of form. Looks a bit leaner/fitter to me also.
mozy
SO much better than Joselu and Gayle, must start Mitro. He attracts multiple defenders due to his physicality and that creates more space for others to play. With Joselu teams are more than comfortable leaving one defender on him. Dokko
He was decent tonight, but I've always felt he's a better option from the bench against tired defenders anyway. Would definitely start him against Chelsea though, might as well. Gayle against tired legs would be even better once mitro has been at them. No point in starting him at Chelsea though... It's unfair as hell mot get a sniff and be called worse than shit.
Hanshithispantz
Would start him against Chelsea, their CBs will eat Joselu alive. We need someone who is going to at least rattle them It'd be like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FNS4QH25mo *contains tits* EDIT: Fantastic tits. sbnufc
Why bring him on for like 4 minutes at the end when we're 3-2 down? Won't give him a chance at all to start a game but will chuck him on when all else has failed. Really is exactly like Pardew's treatment of Ben Arfa. Sell the poor sod in January at the earliest possible chance and use the money to get someone else who will actually play

Both strikers had done well and it looked like it was going to be a draw. Suddenly we needed a goal and we brought him on. Not that hard to understand
