Solid set of results for us - a point isnt enough for Villa, was expecting a Bournemouth win, defeats for Norwich/Sunderland. Swansea weren't really in danger imo.

Swansea were in the relegation zone, without a manager, and without a win for ages, of course they were and still are in danger.

Even though we're not playing particularly well this season, we've got a good squad, however if we're competing against teams like Swansea (and Chelsea hehe) to stay up then it's going to be tough.

The quality (or at least the performances) of the lower quality PL teams has been astonishingly impressive during the first half of the season.

Our squad is terrible. The only position we have depth in is up front

And even then.. not one standout goalscorer.

But I agree... in the sense the squad isn't any better than the rest down there. Even Villa are a side full of "internationals" with a decent star player or two. With Norwich and Bournemouth genuinely good teams (as in better than the sum of their parts). And even then some of the Bournemouth lads have really impressed me.
