BrettNUFC
James back to boss level today. Man of the match so far. Confidence one notable thing that he seems to have back tonight.

Village Idiot
Hope Modric gets more rest under Zidane. Being out of the cup is a blessing in disguise on that regard. Real Madrid will have played 8 less games than us this season when we face each other in the upcoming Clásico.

sbnufc
Also wtf are Ligue 1 (teams) gonna do about PSG? It's not even funny, just embarrassing. Win tonight (which they currently are) and they'll be 24 points clear at the top. Their GD is +46. Next best is Nice & Marseille on +9. How the hell will any other team even get close next season? Or the season after? Carry on like this this season (which it will) and they'll win the league with 10+ games still to play man

Village Idiot
Why is the French league so lightweight? They are a big European country, larger and more prosperous than Spain for starters; and their NT has been pretty successful throughout the years, producing some great players. Yet their football clubs - bar PSG nowadays - have always been pitiful.
Foluwashola
Dropped 6 points all season. Tragedy of a league.

My feeling when I lived there was that football wasn't as much life and death as it is in Eng/Holland/Spain etc...Generally found the French quite effeminate. Aye they'd won the league twice (1985-86 & 1993-94) and been runners up 6 times from 1988 - 2004. Then boom, take over.. win the league 3 years on the trot. On for a 4th with an unbeaten season and record points haul

Nobody
Some big games for us tonight. Need Spurs and City to do their jobs tonight, and could do with help from Pardew (actually, no fuck him, I can't support that loathsome cunt, rather see Bournemouth take a point) and Pulis.
