How s*** are the FA if they all go on their summer holidays at the time when the window is open

I'm guessing they are preoccupied with the World Cup draw and fixture arrangements. Only thing i can think of along with it is the main holiday fortnight in the UK.

Wasn't it a recommendation in last year's state of the game report that the FA panel should be turning down more applications with a focus on whether the signing could adequately be covered by an Englishman?

For that reason I would be surprised if he gets approved.

Seems to think it's a formality like :-

@KHeneage: No concerns about with Mbemba's #NUFC work permit. DR Congo are inside the top 70 of FIFA rankings and he's played over 75% of their games.

NUFC will show them tapes of Iron Mike Englishman Williamson. Visa approved in a matter of seconds.

Douglas has pointed out that's wrong though, he says they are 74th.

Following an agreement between Newcastle United and Anderlecht for the transfer of Chancel Mbemba, the player has been in Newcastle and has agreed personal terms with the Club and undergone his medical.

The documentation in relation to the Club's application for a Governing Body Endorsement (GBE), required in order for Mbemba to obtain a visa, was submitted to the FA on Wednesday morning (22nd July).

Unfortunately, the FA are unable to consider the Club's application until Thursday of next week (30th July). The FA advised the Club they were not able to convene a Panel any sooner.

The Club will provide an update for supporters at the earliest opportunity following the conclusion of the Panel hearing.

Grandmaster Flash (White Lines), has something to say:

F**K BABY!!

Your decision-making panel, are gonna take some time,

While the rest of us, have to watch, defending that's a crime.

If Chancel doesn't come, we'll aal feel really doon,

An' God help you, you faceless twats, if you come t' the toon!

So don't do it!

FREEZE! ... ROCK!
