Colos Short and Curlies
It was a dumb back pass, which happens. But looking at a wide angle, when he played the ball back of looked pretty safe, it was actually pretty intelligent running by Jelavic and made quite late. Not enough credit for the striker but not taking away that it was a gifted goal
Guest zicomartin
Thats what I thought on first watch, Elliot was 6 yards away from the penalty spot, Jelavic was on the edge of the D, about 10 yards away. Coloccini was ball watching, so equally at fault, IMO.

xLiaaamx
It's not Wijnaldum at Watford bad, but it was bad
Guest zicomartin
Colo is still drinking his halftime Argentinian tea while Jelavic waltzes right past him, right about 2:00 mins. Enjoy. snip
Hanshithispantz
Dave'll have you for posting footy videos mind. Colo does nothing wrong there though, he's ball watching because he doesn't expect Mbemba to have just blindly passed the ball to Jelavic.
triggs
He's ball watching because when your team has the ball that's what you do man. Equally at fault ffs
Geordie Ahmed
Big fan of Mbemba BUT that goal is fully his fault, got the pass badly wrong, should have passed it onto Elliot's right foot rather than his left which is what I think he was trying to do
Nobody
It's so annoying because it's a brilliant piece of defending before the pass, but once he passes it, all the blame has to fall on Mbemba unfortunately.
toontenacity
Guy made a mistake. We won, doesn't matter. He's been our most consistent performer this season. No inquest necessary - ever defender plays the odd awful back pass
xLiaaamx
I know Mbemba's a favourite and people are kinda 50/50 on Coloccini but there's no way you blame Fabricio or Rob for that, all Mbemba, but he made up for it by hardly giving them a sniff the rest of the half
TRon
I know Mbemba's a favourite and people are kinda 50/50 on Coloccini but there's no way you blame Fabricio or Rob for that, all Mbemba, but he made up for it by hardly giving them a sniff the rest of the half It was a poor mistake, but defenders do make ricks like that every now and then. Other than that he was outstanding.
Conjo
I really like him, just hope hes not Bramble mkII. Two huge mistakes in the last two games now, while playing really good otherwise.

Ronaldo
It was stupid for him to have his arm out like that, mind. I like him. The only thing I worry about is his tendency to be physically bullied and subsequently panic under pressure.
STM
I think he's great. He needs a beast next to him to shoulder the burden of physicality. Colo is softer than shite, meaning Mbemba has to mark the big boys. Everything else about his game is spot on.
xLiaaamx
Feel like I've seen people try to play it down the channel only for him to easily beat the striker to the ball about 100 times already this season

Like him but I feel like with him at the back, SMC won't want to replace Dummett who is our best player in the air (in defence and midfield at least)

The College Dropout
Overall, pretty reliable for an African. Might be the best African CB according to HTT.
