Dave Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 The over reaction on here man, geez Our lineup only has 2 players who are probably in contention for the first game of the season, and as Lenny said about 18 players that could be considered first teamers arn't even in the squad. The weekend will be a true indication of where we are at, not a game where we are essentially playing our reserves. Guest Gomez Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 I've never done any indepth studies into who cares, but I know I care, and I believe there is merit to building a positive atmosphere in a squad and building team cohesion with your preferred starting XI. But maybe I'm the only one. I'll sign up for survey monkey and get back to you in 6-8 weeks. I'd tend to agree. No, I don't really give a shit about the individual results, but the whole thing just gives an impression complacency and accepting mediocrity. I know it doesn't usually tell you much about how the season's going to go, but I'd feel more comfortable if they gave the impression that they wanted to compete and use the match to learn something (players and management), rather than being satisfied with having a run out. Perez the only reasonable performer so far. Gouffran. Honestly, there's nowt to report. We've hit a brick wall every ti e we go forward and they look dangerous on the break. Rubbish. Sad thing is we struggle in the same way at full strength. Honestly Carver really excelled like in his coaching with this pre-season prep. Has to be the worst preseason in memory. Absolute shambles.
