I can forgive Townsend slightly for that as he only joined late January and still scored 4 goals - unlike the others who contributed little or nothing in the same period, and Sissoko with his one goal over the full season.

I liked him and generally wish him well, but won't care much either way how his carreer goes. Will just be a 'meh' footnote on our history in a few years.

Yeah I was annoyed he left but I can understand it and at least when he left he did it professionally.

Ben fell out with Pardew to such an extent he was thrown out of the club on a free. When Townsend does the same he will be welcomed back. Until then he can kiss Pardew's arse along with any sympathisers.

He won't come though as even if he wanted to for some reason Palace are not going to sell him for anyway close to the £13m they bought him for. We're not paying £20m+ for him.
