Sima
Imagine running away from their obligation of paying €10.5m thinking it would go away. Like an adolescent hiding his parent's phone bill Imagine then being forced to pay more due the exchange rate being fucked because their supporters voted to leave the EU. Figures 1-0 Football
https://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2017/june/update-on-manager-position Since the end of the season, our focus has been to appoint a new manager. Recently, however, discussions have been entered into with parties who have expressed an interest in acquiring ownership of the club. With this backdrop, we have been unable to give the assurances any potential candidate would need regarding the plans a new owner could have for the manager’s position. The recruitment process, whilst still very much active, cannot therefore be concluded imminently. In talking to parties who have shown interest in acquiring the club, owner Ellis Short is determined to make sure that the best interests of Sunderland AFC are at the heart of any decision regarding its future. We are of course acutely aware of the need to act swiftly to appoint a manager and to ensure that this is the case, have placed a time limit on discussions regarding a potential sale. If discussions are not concluded within our defined timeframe, we will terminate the process and move swiftly and positively forward with plans for the new season. Detailed pre-season preparations are already in place and our aim is to do everything we can to ensure Sunderland’s return to the top flight.

Dave
RTG is hilarious! The majority are convinced he turned them down as they're about to be taken over! Erm, Sorry lads but I can't imagine he's that minted so he'd be an utter mug to have turned down a three year deal for fear of getting the boot soon and having his contract fully paid-up! They live in a totally different reality to what everyone else does. As has been said, the macktracking over there tonight will be hilarious. Looks like they were right then. shintonsghost
In truth they look like starting the most critical season for them in ages with no manager and no new signings. Figures 1-0 Football
Sunderland assistant manager Paul Bracewell has left the club as they prepare for life in the Championship. The ex-Black Cats player, 54, returned as a coach in 2013 before first-team roles under Dick Advocaat, Sam Allardyce and David Moyes. The club are managerless after Moyes' departure following relegation. Do they have any staff on their books like? Who will take pre-season training now, the kitman? Aye, I'm sure he's really bothered who he sells it to (if any fucker is even remotely interested in them). He won't give a flying fuck who buys it from him should he somehow manage to find a buyer.
