Altamullan
That is really touching. What a lovely little lad. His parents must have felt so moved by what SAFC did for him, and so proud of how he took it all in his stride.

afar
Huge win for them today tbh, honestly think this could be a record season for low points staying up ridiculous that they are now (if things stay as they are) just one point from safety after the way they've played. Tiresias
They'll stay up they always do, just do enough and then no need to make any improvement on any level and continue to haunt the league with their shit footy
GeordieDazzler
1 point behind palace now
Stifler
Aye, they will stay up. They are keeping themselves in it now and not falling behind and making it up at the last minute like they usually do.
Guest firetotheworks
Still very confident that they're going down.
Chris_R
I'm still struggling to believe they haven't yet figured out why airports aren't often in city centres. Utter window lickers.
sbnufc
"I'm loving the fact that our goals are coming from different places and not just Jermaine Defoe" Aye, 3 goalscorers in 17 games. Great.

Ketsbaia
One day they'll go down. Not until 2018 at least, though.
newsted
Thought he was and relied on commentary. Well, I don't know, I think he could see a bit, but not enough to take it all in, maybe some of both. He was on TV a few years back. We shouldn't be speculating on somebody's level of disability like, the lad's dealing with it as best he can. Still spectacularly mackemesque though. Mattoon
If Moyes kept them up, would it be considered an achievement? 100% yes Absolutely, regardless of the dross at the bottom of the league that squad is absolute pony.
Guest Howaythetoon
I'd have to agree like. I'm not a huge fan of Moyes, but give him time and enough resources and he could turn SAFC into his version of Everton, easily. And for them, that's probably the best they could hope for unless daft Arab City like changes happened and even then... which world class player/manager is gonna want to work and live in sunderland.... I cant fully agree with that, but, if they do stay up, I don't believe a Rafa side will ever finish below a Moyes side.
