Guest
Carragher: 'They had to change something because, as we've said before, they can't get rid of their players. I think if some clubs could they would, because they've got a lot of poor players which is why they're down there'. Carragher 4 paragraphs later: 'The quality of player they have there they shouldn't be fighting relegation or be second bottom in the league'. Superior Acuña
I like it when they make those lists and embolden verbs for emphasis but end up running out of good ones. It's always something like: The Eastenders star: ROMPED in a ritzy hotel room all night SNORTED line after line of cocaine SMASHED furniture in a drug-addled rage LOOKED at hardcore pornography WENT to a gay bar and danced all night height=400http://i.imgur.com/FI0Z2oU.jpg[/img]

That should be surprising but isn't, the quality of ex-pro commentary is appalling. The criteria seems to be: a) Did you play for Liverpool? b) Can you ramble incessantly often in a contradictory way, justify every dodgy Liverpool decision and see them even now as one of the games 'greats' Carragher, Hanson, Souness, Redknapp, Murphy, Kennedy, Thompson and manay more besides. All completely useless and innately thick

KaKa
Promising Chronicle article with Rafa regarding Graham Carr. Think that relationship will work out fine tbh. Really good one on his face to face meeting with Ayoze too. All sounding so good. Just need to get these results now.

Ronaldo
Graham Carr will be gone soon. As if his shit recommendations from France are gonna be given the OK by Rafa Benitez.

DJ_NUFC
I wonder how Carr sees his own position at the club now that his best mate was sacked, too late even. With Rafa already bringing his own people in, is Carr still untouchable in the eyes of the hierarchy? About time for the old man to retire or just act as a lowly scout. TRon
Graham Carr will be gone soon. As if his shit recommendations from France are gonna be given the OK by Rafa Benitez. I think so, obviously he's being diplomatic while he's still in the 10 game trial stage, but if the 3 year deal kicks in I imagine Rafa will have his own scouts and connections. BleedBlackAndWhite
I think Carr will survive. He's worked his way up the ranks so he clearly knows how to suck up to the people that matter. Rafa has been given a seat on the board as far as I'm aware, I think Carr will work with Rafa as he has no other option, and convince MA it was all McClarens fault and as long as we survive, he wont go anywhere. If we go down though, he's gone.

Exactly the point, you can buy some duffers along the way, but if you build a good side with decent buys and win trophies, who cares.

Mike
Had a good laugh thinking about some of the managers we've had since I started supporting the team. Can't believe Kinnear was actually the manager once.
