themanupstairs Posted April 23, 2017 Share Posted April 23, 2017 Sels, Gamez and Lazaar were each a gamble of sorts, having never played in England before. Buying Diame wasn't a "mistake" per se. He has experience of playing in the country and in this division, so we kind of knew what we were getting. It made sense to buy him, I just don't think he has performed. He played at right back at the back end of last season under Rafa and did well.
