Dave
Sky absolutely desperate for us to fail like I personally think Rafa would turn them down. Being objective about it, what do we have that they don't? They're not scared of spending money.
taxfree
The only reason he'd even slightly consider it is because of bad feelings with Ashley. Literally fuck all else. Really don't think it would happen
Stifler
Was always going to rumours of him after today. A defeat or draw and it would be him leaving because the players are not good enough, a win and West Ham want him to replace Bilic.

Being objective about it, what do we have that they don't? They're not scared of spending money. A commutal distance from his family vs having to work in London would have a significant factor I feel.

Being objective about it, what do we have that they don't? They're not scared of spending money. His family are far closer to us than they would be if he lived in London. He has a 2nd house up here where his family visit and one of his daughters is at Durham university. He came back to the UK and to us to be close to his family. West Ham may give more money out for players, however they are far more impatient and he wouldn't really last long there.

Figures 1-0 Football
This could of course work in our favour and put pressure on Ashley to give Rafa what he wants. Obviously that relies on Ashley being a normal human being, which we know he isn't.
Robster
Ashley has shown his hand to Rafa. Rafa will never be allowed to improve NUFC to the level he wants. Rafa wants to succeed. He'll definitely be interested in the West Ham job. If he gets WH up to the top end of the Premier League, they'll not give a fuck about the style of football. Shearergol
One of the last clubs I can see him at tbh. I'd worry if it were a Southampton or Leicester.

Danh1
Billic hasn't even been sacked and we are worrying about Rafa replacing him. I know West Ham are happy to spend money but I don't think Rafa would walk out on the players that he has managed to bring in or the fans at this point. He has class and seems to be an emotional bloke. If he did do go to them then I do think it would make me lose faith in anyone at all in Football. sh74
He also said some of the signings signed because of him not the club. So it would be a case of "welcome to Newcastle, fuck it I'm away to West Ham ,see you later daft cunts".
Dave
A flight to John Lennon from London City takes less than 15mins longer than from Newcastle. Both airports are similar trip from the respective training grounds.
SUPERTOON
Hopefully Rafa uses this as leverage for some signings. Or we sign no one and he goes to West Ham. ? Should be a fun last 5 days of the window.

Stifler
Fuck off, Sky. We literally can't win. I know this was coming regardless of the result today. However after the match Rafa had a smile on his face and was confident about bringing in players during the week. I'm less worried about him leaving now than I was at 3pm, back him to a reasonable level this week and everything will be rosy.
xLiaaamx
West Ham's players certainly did a good job convincing him today he should go there.
HaydnNUFC
We bring in players, which he's confident of us doing (pls) he's got no reason to go to West Ham if they sack Bilic, none at all. I genuniely don't think he'd go there.
Stifler
West Ham's players certainly did a good job convincing him today he should go there. Aye. 'Come to us where you can be in a relegation with players you never picked, and fans who will be on your back for the football you play instead of being at Newcastle where you are loved by the fans and have a squad that you have largely built'. xLiaaamx
Do they spend money though? They've spent less net this window than us. Even with their Free Taxpayer stadium.

I genuniely don't think he'd go there. Even if we didn't, why would he go to West Ham who can't buy anyone because the transfer window has closed? It would be like jumping out of the frying pan, tying your hands, and jumping into the fire.
