Dokko
Shaw is a milion times better than what we have like. Mourinho is hardly known for keeping talent, look at the players he's let go. Would defintiely take him here I don't think anyone would dispute that, it's just the constant injuries that would put off most suitors. Acccording to tinternet he's missed 3 games this season at the start of the season with an op on his foot. Shelvey has missed just as many games banned. Also does his contract run out in 2018? mrmojorisin75
I'd absolutely take Shaw for pennies but anyone would be mental to pay a hefty fee for him at this stage.

James
If we sign Shaw he thinks he has made it, he can't follow managers instructions and he hasn't been looking after himself physically. Dummett will displace him from the team within 6 months

gazza ladra
Mourinho mistakes: Lukaku, De Bruyne, Salah, and ... Shaw. Sure, why not.
Incognito
Luke needs to get his head back on and aim to get to the World Cup finals. Moving might just help that though if he comes to us Clark and Elliot will probably be jealous to be Shaw to be Shaw.

Ketsbaia
Apparently Pochettino wasn't keen on Shaw's attitude. Add that to his constant injuries and the English habit of downfalls..... no thanks.
Infinitely Content
I'd probably be pleased with Shaw tbh, but there'll be other left backs out there for similar money, Chelsea's Baba Rahman for example, currently on loan at Schalke.
Sho Time
He's just like Babayaro, only shorter. It's a no from me.
Dave
Cost current club £30m. Chelsea were put off him because of excessive wage demands. Can't get motivated to play for Man United. Always fucking injured. Sounds great.
Guest Howaythetoon
If Rafa wanted him I’d back him to get him performing, same with any good player wich Shaw clearly is.

Always f***ing injured. Sounds great. Has the third point not got more to do with the fact Mourinho seems to slag him off at any opportunity? We rightly criticised Carver when he had a go at Abeid after one game.
Dave
Mourinho protects his players at every opportunity, it's a well known tactic of his and his own players know it. For him to feel he has to come out like that should set alarm bells ringing.
Mole_Toonfan
That's not true though, Mourinho constantly throws his players under the bus. Also as already mentioned he has a history of wasting young players who have gone on to prove him wrong.

Stottie
Dunno much about Shaw but the frequent comments about his weight do not bode well. I can't see how Spurs could sign Barkley for what he wants without wrecking their pay structure. Barkley could play ahead of Sissoko, but they'd end up having to pay most of their team millions more than they do already. He wouldn't start for Citeh, Man U, or Chelsea, so that leaves Arsenal and probably Europa League. Personal safety rules out Liverpool. Sitting on the bench for big wedge at Man U or Chelsea looks most likely to me, but it's a waste of his talent.
afar
I'm with Dave on this one, lots of red flags with the lad, rather we looked elsewhere, but tbh in terms of priority LB is way down on my list right now, Striker, 10 and GK need to be fixed first, we have serviceable folks we can plug in at LB. Paully
Shaw was superb at Southampton and he'll thrive under Rafa and when you consider our alternatives, it's a huge HELL YEAH from me!
James
He sold De Bruyne for being a 'cry baby'. It's not just Mourinho singling him out though. He is currently physically in an absolute state and performing appallingly for the U23s according to local accounts in the Manchester press. There are also several accounts of his inability to learn and improve. He is a pure waster. Two very good managers and he hasn't listened to them. Why would he follow Rafa? It won't happen because Rafa knows all this and would prefer to manage Dummett and use the money elsewhere if it came to a straight choice. I'm sure Rafa will look at left backs if he has funds but it won't be Shaw for sure.
