timeEd32
Not-serious-but-still-kind-of-serious-answer: Perchinho for his suprise heroics those years ago. Serious answer: Shay Given for inspiring my entire childhood. (I even went to the hair dressers with a photo of him to get a receding hairline cut in as I just though that was his style). I did the exact same thing when I was a kid, but it was Shearer.
Guest
Laurent Robert. Idolised the bloke. Translated his interviews for here and the nufc.com 'Robert diaries' for a spell and got his signed match worn shirt from the Arsenal 1-1 where he scored and got sent off framed and on my wall as a thank you from him. toon25
How likely is it that West Ham will bid for Shelvey? Would be loathe to lose him tbh. Especially to a relegation rival.

He fits their model of buying a bunch of random players and hoping they will play well together.
cubaricho
Beyond the usual suspects a few of my favorites have been: Martins, Emre, Beye, Given, and Sibierski who was one of the best value-for-money signings we've made.
Away Day Gadgie
Forgot about Sibierski!!! Scored some very important goals for us and proved everyone wrong. Love owt like that!

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Sterry out on loan, Saivet off if someone will give us £5m and another glorious report of ginger Jack trotting back to the village of the damned (but they can't afford his wages). http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-midfielder-jack-colback-linked-11786493
Ketsbaia
£5m is a bit ambitious Would be class if they sell Ndong and replace him with Jack.

Andy84
Why would Leicester loan us Slimani? Unless we are willing to pay a hefty load fee, all his wages and agree some sort of a deal for the summer.

Unless we are willing to pay a hefty load fee, all his wages and agree some sort of a deal for the summer. Players not getting game time can disrupt a harmonious squad. Leicester currently have 4 strikers barely getting any minutes so unless they're perfect professionals they could be causing a problem. He's probably on big wages as well, they might want to free up squad space for a new signing, the manager might not rate him. Plenty of possible reasons. They have loads of strikers - Iheanacho, Vardy, Okazaki, Ulloa, Slimani, Musa. Surely they could spare Slimani.
Boo Boy
People need to face the facts,. Unless we sell players we won't sign anyone. Even then under the current regime we may sell the players and the current owner tucks the manager.
