NUFCDoog Posted June 12, 2016 Share Posted June 12, 2016 This sort of system where 3 draws gives you an 87% chance.of going through was always going to lead to teams like Northern Ireland and Russia going out and trying to just play for a point. Its frustrating as fuck to watch but Uefa have bought it on themselves. Its also leading to teams going 1 nil up and completely shutting up as they know 1 win more or less means youre through. Saying that though, as above there has been some terrible finshing. We could be sitting here seeing France Romania being a 3 all draw, England beating Russia 3 nil, Albania Switzerland being 2 2 etc and youre sat here ssying what a great tournament it is.
